Happy Independence Day! ✨🇵🇭

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
— Proverbs 16:3

Congratulations, Graduates!🎓💙
To God be all the Glory!🙏✨
SJB/BPC Youth Ministry is proud of you!

ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA, INTERCEDE FOR US THIS TUESDAY

"The life of the body is the soul; the life of the soul is God." — Saint Anthony of Padua

As we begin this Tuesday, let us seek the intercession of St. Anthony of Padua, the beloved Franciscan saint renowned for his holiness, wisdom, and powerful prayers before God. While many turn to him for help in finding lost items, St. Anthony's greatest mission was to lead souls back to Christ, helping people rediscover what is most precious: faith, hope, and the grace of God.

May this day be an opportunity to entrust to his care our worries, intentions, and silent petitions. Through his intercession, may we find strength in our struggles, clarity in our decisions, comfort in our sorrows, and a renewed desire to follow the Lord faithfully.

O glorious St. Anthony, faithful servant of God and powerful intercessor, pray for us today. Help us to seek God's will in all things, to remain steadfast in faith, and to trust in His providence. Obtain for us the graces we need and guide us ever closer to Jesus Christ. Amen.

St. Anthony of Padua, intercede for us this Tuesday!

“THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH IS GIVEN FOR YOU.”
(Luke 22:19)

These words spoken by Jesus at the Last Supper are at the very heart of the Corpus Christi celebration. They reveal a love that does not merely speak, but gives itself completely.

When Jesus said, “This is My Body, which is given for you,” He was not only speaking about the bread He held in His hands. He was pointing toward the sacrifice of the Cross, where He would offer His entire life for the salvation of the world. The Eucharist and Calvary are inseparably united: the same Jesus who gave Himself on the Cross continues to give Himself to us in every Holy Mass.

What makes these words even more moving is the phrase “for you.” Jesus did not die for an anonymous crowd. He gave Himself for each person individually. He knows our struggles, our sins, our wounds, and our fears, yet He still says, “This is My Body, given for you.”

Every time we receive Holy Communion, we encounter a God who holds nothing back. The King of Heaven becomes our food. The Creator enters His creation. The Savior gives Himself completely so that we may have life.

On this Corpus Christi Sunday, may we hear these words not only with our ears but with our hearts:

“This is My Body, which is given for you.”

A love so great deserves our faith.
A gift so precious deserves our reverence.
A Savior so generous deserves our whole life.

Lord Jesus, truly present in the Holy Eucharist, help us to receive You with gratitude, adore You with reverence, and love You with all our heart. Amen. 🙏🏻🤍✝️🍞🕊️
