I came across this thought earlier and I couldnt stop thinking about it.

What if Christmas isn’t about adding more to our plates, but about slowing down enough to notice Him? December gets so busy that we often reach Christmas already exhausted. But Jesus isn’t found in the rush, He’s found in the stillness we often ignore.

He came gently, as a baby in a stable, and He still comes to us with the same gentleness today. Pausing is not falling behind; it’s choosing what matters most; it’s an invitation to rest, to be present, and to sit at His feet.

This Christmas, we don’t have to do everything. We only need to spend time with Him.
