Buot ipahimangno pag usab sa LGU Cordova pinangulohan ni Mayor Cesar "Didoy" Suan sa tanang Cordovanhons ang hingpit ug kusganon nga pagpatuman sa โNo Segregation, No Collection Policyโ sa tibuok Lungsod sa Cordova.
Buot pasabot niini nga dili na kolektahon sa mga barangay personnel ang inyong basura kon wala kini gi-segregate sa MALATA, DI-MALATA, ug RECYCLABLE.
Pinasikad kini sa Ordinance No. 2017-003 nga giulohan nga โAn Ordinance Enacting the Environment Code of the Municipality of Cordovaโ nga gipangamahan ni Hon. Lemuel Pogoy.
Mao kini ang tipik sa ordinansa ubos sa Article VII:

All residents of the Municipality, including transient visitors and those who conduct business within the Municipality, shall segregate their solid wastes into three (3) kinds: biodegradable, recyclable/re-usable and hazardous/special wastes.

The barangays shall collect biodegradable and reusable wastes. However, in residential areas where backyard composting is not possible,
the barangays shall collect said biodegradable wastes for composting at the barangay
composting center.

The Municipality of Cordova shall collect non-recyclable materials, such as but not limited to sando bags, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, junk food wrappers and those similar in nature, and special wastes. Whenever possible, residual and non-reusable wastes shall be collected at the barangay MRF.

Any individual, person or persons for the operation and maintenance of an establishment / firm / facility who violates any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be penalized with the following, to wit:
a) First offense - a fine of P200.00 or community services for two hours
b) Second offense - a fine of P500.00 or community service for 2 days
c) Third offense - a fine of P2,000.00 and or imprisonment of not less than fifteen (15) days upon discretion of the court.
In case the violator is an establishment, firm or entities, the maximum penalty shall be imposed upon the president, manager, director or persons responsible for its operations. In addition, the Sanitary Clearance issued to such establishment, firm or institution shall be revoked accordingly.
