🍱 Makes sure the rider is fed

💧 Makes sure they hydrate
🎒 Carries all the bags and gears
📣 Shouts the loudest from the sidelines
😱 Holds their breath during every turn
😭 Comforts them after every fall
🥹 Celebrates every small victory
❤️ And most importantly, believes even when the rider doubts herself/himself.

💨 GLARE THE GAZELLE 🦌⚡

The 7–12Y Girls category was the last race of the day—and the rain came pouring HARD! 🌧️

When the rain finally slowed down, the organizers asked if the girls wanted to continue. The track was wet and slippery, and honestly, we were a little nervous. 😅

But these girls? FIERCE! 🔥
They unanimously decided to finish the race! 💪🏻

We told Glare, “Just have fun, be careful, and enjoy the ride. We don’t want you to fall and get hurt.” ❤️

And watching them race on that wet track was SO MUCH FUN! 🥹🌧️🏁
Everyone was cheering, pushing through the conditions, and giving it their all.

When we saw the lineup, we immediately conditioned Glare not to expect too much in the 7–8-year-old mixed category. There were only 2 girls out of 20 participants, and we knew the competition would be tough.

We told her to just do her best, give her all, and enjoy the race. No pressure. We weren’t expecting a podium.

But Glare had other plans. 🥹🔥

She went beyond our expectations and finished 5th Pro! We were honestly shocked and so proud of her. From all the falls, the failures, the times she finished last, and every challenging training session—she continues to show us what happens when you trust the process and, most importantly, trust your child.

Salig lang sa imong anak! ❤️

Sometimes, we parents limit our children because we’re afraid to expect too much. But when we give them the chance to surprise us, they remind us that they are capable of more than we imagine.

So proud of you, Glare! You gave your all, and that’s already a victory. 🏁💪❤️

“SALIG LANG SA IMO ANAK.”
I’ve heard this phrase a couple of times from our teammates, but today, I finally understood it in a whole new way.

After all the trainings, local races, tabatas, endurance trainings and rollers at home, there comes a moment when you just have to trust the process and trust that your kid can do it.

And this run proved it. 🥹

I was literally shaking and in awe while taking this video. This was Glance’s best run yet in his pushbike journey. Seeing him apply everything he had learned during training was such an incredible moment. Right there on the track, all my nervousness and “what ifs” simply vanished.

The phrase “SALIG LANG SA IMO ANAK” suddenly dawned on me.

Because behind this run were all the falls, the failures, the times he finished last, the disappointing races, and the moments when we wondered if he could really do it. But every setback was part of the process. Every fall taught him to get back up. Every race, whether he won or lost, helped him grow.

And today, seeing him put all those lessons into action made every single one of those moments worth it. 🥹
