This look is not a typical aesthetic of Xupery Ian. However, when my friend and fellow artist Ms. Joann Pamintuan wanted to upcycle an Ethnic Mindanaoan piece for her look for the 2025 Hijos de Davao, i was up for the assignment.

I transformed the hand beaded jacket into a deep V mini dress and added a formal floor length ball skirt. And for the final touch, the Joann Pamintuan mesh copper terno top to complete the Filipiniana look. This was a true collaboration.
