•●🇵🇭 Traje De Mestiza 🇵🇭●•

This National Costume is inspired of Sarimanok which is a legendary Maranao bird of Southern Philippines. Recycled and Indigenous materials combined to create a masterpiece that symbol of a gentle and genuine Filipino girl. The cardboard molded round and applied one by one on the old clothes is a symbol of the patience and diligence of Filipinos. It also symbolizes the scales of Bangus which is the National Fish of the Philippines because one of the main jobs of Filipinos is fishing. The reed ( Tambo ) that symbolizes the sunshine that with every new morning that passes there is a new hope that will come despite the pandemic we are facing today. The white cloth that symbolizes the purity of will of Filipinos. The bird on the head, on the shoulder, and behind the clothes is symbolizing the rich art and culture of the Filipinos and also symbolizes prosperity. And the face mask made of rubbermatt is a symbol of the strenght of Filipinos in the war that we are facing during this time of pandemic and it is also one of those who serve to fight agaisnt Covid-19. And this is what we call Filipino in the new Normal🇵🇭.
