Three years ago, I believed I was too broken to ever be made whole again.

I cried out to God, “I can’t do this anymore. I can’t take the pain.”
I felt like I had nothing left in me.

It was in that breaking that I learned to rely on Him — not on my own strength, because I would have given up.

Sometimes God allows us to fall apart so He can rebuild us the right way.
He reveals the parts of us that need refining.
He prunes what is withered so we can grow healthier and stronger.

If you’re in a season of brokenness right now, take heart.
Trust the hands that are holding your pieces.

You are still God’s masterpiece, and He is not finished with you.

Lay down your pain, your emotions, your struggles.
In His hands, nothing is wasted. 🤍

Luke 22:42
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

This was the prayer of Jesus in Gethsemane, on the night before His arrest and crucifixion. He knew what was about to happen and how painful it would be—yet He chose to surrender. That decision, marked by complete obedience to the Father, led to the greatest blessing of all: our salvation.

Sometimes, obeying God is hard because of our flesh. We are afraid. We don’t want pain or suffering. We think we can’t do it. We think it doesn’t make sense. But God’s wisdom and plans are far greater than ours—and they are always better.

So today, and for this year, may we take a leap of faith and obey God in whatever He asks us to do. In the end, we never lose when we surrender to Him. The breaking that comes through obedience often leads to breakthrough. May our prayer also be, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”
