Who among us has never cried? Every one of us has shed tears—when burdens feel too heavy, when the weight of the world seems unbearable, or when stress and anxiety attack us. In those moments, our tears fall like rain, pouring out the pain we cannot put into words.
Some may see crying as a sign of weakness, but in truth, it is a sacred act of release. It is a moment of reconnecting with ourselves and with God, surrendering our struggles into His hands. When we cry, we are not alone—God sees every tear, and He hears every silent prayer behind them. Psalm 56:8 tells us, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book.” This means our pain is never wasted. Every tear we shed is known to God, and He promises to turn our sorrow into joy.
In the darkness of the night, when we feel lost and broken, we must remember that morning always comes. Psalm 30:5 reminds us, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” The pain we experience today is temporary. God is working in the unseen, preparing a new season of peace, healing, and restoration.
So, when life overwhelms you and tears begin to fall, do not be ashamed. Instead, lift your heart to God. Let your tears be your prayer, and let His love be your comfort. For in His perfect time, He will turn your mourning into dancing, and your sorrow into songs of joy.
Whatever you are going through today, remember: You may cry at night, but the morning of joy is coming. Trust in the Lord, for His promises never fail.
