As one of the key highlights of the Opening Program, this extraordinary fashion showcase Panika Ta Diyandi — born in Iligan City — shines a spotlight on the exceptional designers of Iligan City and Lanao del Norte. These talented artists skillfully weave tradition, innovation, and local identity into breathtaking creations that elevate Mindanao’s heritage to global recognition. Panika Ta Diyandi 2025 Featured Designer Gil Macaibay III😘😘😘

After duly representing Cagayan de Oro in the bi-annual Philippine Fashion Week, He graduated to the fashion mainstream as a respected icon. Recently, he was chosen by the Fashion Design Council of the Philippines to be part of the Philippine Design Team to represent the country in the Precious of Malaysia Fashion Week this August. He was also the first Mindanao-based fashion designer who was commissioned to do the Mercedes-Benz Stylo Asia Fashion Awards. Awarded Seal of Excellence for Marketing and Business, he was chosen as one of the Best Fashion Designer of the Year for Philippine Fashion Spotlight.

He also showcased his cutting-edge collection in Canada and The United States of America for Tela Philippines. Currently, he is a board member of the City Tourism Council of CDO and of the Oro Fashion Designers Guild. He also initiated the 1st Mindanao Fashion Summit and The Designers Assembly.
