Our story started when the E-commerce company we were working for as virtual assistants decided to sell their brand and there was no guarantee that we could continue working with the new owner. Yes, we cried, but instead of asking why it happened, we prepared ourselves for what will happen next because we know that God has planned something better for us. We thought of what we have learned and wha
t we do best, and that is managing an eCommerce store. With all the products we can sell, we chose footwear because it encourages us to move forward. Whenever we see a footwear, we are being reminded that there are too many places to go and too many things to explore. This is also inspired by our missionary friends who go to different places, leaving their footprints, not just in the land they set their feet into, but also in the hearts of the people they met. It also reminds us of our place, Sibale - a small island in Romblon, and our fellow Sibalenhons. Growing up, we would walk many kilometers just to reach our school, and sometimes, we had to remove our shoes or slippers so they would last for one school year or more. It symbolizes achievements. And so, RANA’ happened. When we were sad and the future was unknown, the footprints on the sand reminded us that we were not alone. It reflects our desire to leave a positive mark wherever we go and in whatever we do.
