Growing up as a millennial LGBT individual, we had to follow strict school rules and comply with rigid guidelines regarding uniforms, haircuts, and self-presentation. Because of this, we never had the chance to fully express ourselves during graduation.
Luckily, the generations after us now have the opportunity to embrace who they are and celebrate life’s greatest moments in the identity they resonate with most. This is a massive milestone for a community that once struggled to take up space in what used to be an exclusive world.
This is Frenz, a graduating college student, who received our free total makeover for her graduation pictorial. This is our way of inspiring the younger generation to express themselves and never be ashamed of their true selves. Congratulations, Frenz! May you be the greatest treasure of your family.
