HOLIDAY ADVISORY| Pursuant to Presidential Decree 1083, Thursday, June 26, 2025 is declared a Muslim holiday in celebration of Amun Jadid or Islamic New Year.
Areas covered by the declaration are the provinces of Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Lanao del Norte, Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sulu, Tawi-tawi, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga Sibugay and the cities of Cotabato, Iligan, Marawi, Pagadian and Zamboanga City.
The National Commission for Muslim Filipinos (NCMF)- Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Office IX-A on June 13, 2025 has issued a memorandum confirming the holiday declaration.
