Happy Sunday Everyone
The LORD is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does.
Psalm 145:13
There is only One whose track record is worthy of trust. The One who remains faithful even we are faithless. The One who knows us more than ourselves. Yet, we hold back. We still figure everything out given our limited capacity and continue to tread the raging storms relying on our limited selves until that very last rope of our own strength falters.
Could it be that the reason why we do not fully trust God with all that is happening in our lives today is because we do not know Him well enough? Isn’t it easier to trust Someone who created us than those who cannot even control our own heartbeats such as us?
We are scared of the unknown, yet He assures us that He personally goes ahead of us (Deut. 31:8). When we are worried that what we have is not enough yet He knows exactly what we need even before we ask Him (Matthew 6:8). When doubt fills our mind, in a loss of the seemingly tangled path ahead thinking failure again is at hand, He tells us this: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). When we are tired and we feel helpless, with hope nearly vanishing, The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name”(Psalm 91:14).
Through all these hardships, may we remember these words He continually tells us as we trust Him:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. I have always loved you,
so I continue to show you my constant love.” (Jeremiah 1:5,31:3)
“My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.“ (Isaiah 55:8-9)
“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.“
(Jeremiah 29:11)

God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change his mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?
