Project Title:
RUEDAS VERDE: PIONEERING A SUSTAINABLE CYCLING AND WALKABLE COMMUNITY OASIS
Design Concept Statement:
The project draws inspiration from a circular plan symbolizing "wheels" and the essence of a desert rose, a flower found in barren lands, emphasizing its organic form, resilience, and natural beauty. The thematic touch of these design concepts will be reflected in the proposed urban space's aesthetics. Ruedas Verde strives to create a visually appealing and cohesive environment, achieved through the integration of sustainable art installations and interactive, inclusive elements engaging the community. Utilizing green architecture, it aims to address issues related to polluted urban areas, segregate road networks, and limited green community spaces with comprehensive solutions.
With a grand vision of becoming the hub for recreation and community engagement, Ruedas Verde will play a vital role in pioneering a sustainable cycling and walkable oasis for cyclists, the local community, and even for local governments and urban planners, encouraging the consideration of public spaces like this initiative to promote an ecological environment. This experience will teach us the importance of a green space in an urban setting and help us understand that the future of mobility has two wheels and feet.
