Have you ever noticed that no matter how hard you try to force a positive thought, if there is an underlying unsettling feeling, negativity can flood your system? You feel trapped in a cycle of suffering regardless of how much you try to tell yourself to think positively. And the last thing you want is someone encouraging you to think happy thoughts.β£
Thoughts seem painless, but the feelings that can arise from them are not. As one feeling gives birth to countless thoughts, more associated feelings emerge, perpetuating a cycle of endless thoughts and strong feelings that form your mood. As a mood persists, it can become a part of who you are, altering your internal dialogue entirely.β£
The key is to redirect the thoughts to stop the emotional cycle in its tracks.β£
Emotions can accurately show us where we are vibrationally. And as the common saying goes, we do not attract what we want, but we attract what we are. We manifest the changes we want when we feel good because it is not the object of desire we want but the feeling that comes with it. Therefore, vibrational alignment is represented by your emotional state.β£
Hence, we must learn to process our emotions and lean into those which feel good and empowering. Sometimes, this means you must first explore your negative emotions more closely and work through old wounds and limiting beliefs.β£
When you feel better, your critical thinking, problem-solving, patience, and awareness are all stronger than when you allow yourself to become hopeless or deeply distressed. You can approach whatβs bothering you from a refreshed perspective supported by inspiration.β£
