We started with rainbows. As if we were in a field full of butterflies. We know nothing but all the similarities we do have. We see the whole world in each other’s eyes, even in the little things that make us happy.
But as the days go by and a year has passed, life is starting to change things to test the consistency of our hearts.
Now we are learning our differences as individuals. Things are complicated sometimes. There are also times that we almost gave up, and our minds cry out for the freedom to leave everything behind. But our hearts kept holding on to the love we have for each other.
We have realized some things have already changed. That love is not always the happy moments and the kilig moments. Because all that will surely pass in time, all the fantasy of fairy tales will end, and the reality of life will take over. The intensity of love in the beginning won't last but consistency is all that matters.
Though some things have changed between us, our hearts remain the same.
Let’s always remember, the storm may come our ways, but let’s stick with each other’s side and dance together under the rain because tomorrow will surely shine again.
