In the middle of the summer heat and everyone’s wet foreheads, Juan Carlos “Jake” Cuenca didn’t just stand like a live, calm, athletic Romantic sculpture. He killed the hell of the photo shoot, as if he was anticipating a battle, in the arena of his own. He entered the picture of the breezy, eclectic house, with his armor of conviction. Of course, he was a solid.

Jake wasn’t just prepared. He was damn ready.
