“Sirena sa Bundok”, one of my first macramé wall hangings, alongside “Bukang Liwayway”.

I created this while we were temporarily living in Kabsite, Tanay. A season of my life when I dove into my creativity and truly began to bloom.

I was a complete beginner back then. Worked w whatever materials I had, not knowing the different kinds of macramé cords or the countless patterns I could create. I simply followed my curiosity and just learning the rhythm of every knot.

There were moments I felt lost in the process, but somehow found myself through it. Every knot taught me patience, every mistake became part of the journey, and eventually, this piece came to life.

Looking back, I realize that my creations aren’t just art; they’re filled with stories ✨
