If your child’s baby teeth have small gaps between them, that is usually a healthy developmental sign.

Primary teeth are naturally smaller than permanent teeth. The spaces you see are not “gaps to fix” — they are biological room reserved for the larger adult teeth that will erupt later. This is part of normal jaw growth and helps reduce the risk of crowding during the mixed dentition stage.

When baby teeth sit tightly together with no spacing, the jaw may not have enough room for the wider permanent incisors. Studies show that closed contacts in primary teeth are associated with a higher probability of future crowding. It does not guarantee braces — but it is an early risk indicator dentists monitor.

Early dental visits allow us to track jaw development, eruption patterns, oral habits, and airway health. Monitoring growth at the right time is far more effective than waiting until crowding becomes obvious.

Punch-kun, the young Japanese macaque at Ichikawa City Zoo who was once rejected by his mother and found comfort in a stuffed toy, has now shared his first hug with an adult monkey from the troop.

After careful and gradual reintroductions over the past few weeks, caretakers confirmed that this gentle physical contact marks a big step forward in his journey. It’s a powerful sign that he is slowly being accepted by the group.

For a little monkey who once stood alone, this simple hug means everything. 🐒💛

Everything you do for your child is not a favor to the mother.
It’s not a debt of gratitude, and it’s not an “extra effort.”
It’s your responsibility.

When you feed your child, dress them, guide them, or spend time with them — you’re not doing it for the mother. You’re doing it because you are the father. Fatherhood is not charity work. It’s not seasonal, and it’s not just about money.

It’s about time, presence, care, and guidance — all the things money can’t buy. That’s your responsibility.

Most importantly, a father’s responsibility should never need to be dictated or reminded. If you are a true father, you know where you stand. You know your role. You don’t need to be told, forced, or asked.

Being a father isn’t just carrying the family name. You are a teacher, a protector, a home for your child.

Don’t ever think that fulfilling your role is something the mother owes you. It’s not a favor.
Everything you do is simply being the father you chose to be.
