and Ms. Lean Chua in 2007 catering only to their nearby neighbors by opening up their garage and joining local tiangges. The name ‘Misha’ was conceived after their first born’s name and her baby picture now appears in their brand logo. At first, the items were originally bought for their daughter’s staple apparel but later on the couple decided to market the items for they regarded it highly for i
ts quality and durability. In 2009, they joined Corporate Bazaars in order to vend it properly to a bigger clientele. At almost the same time, they put up an account at sulit.com.ph to widen their market thru online selling. For over a year, they have received tons of inquiries and replied to most of it as well but, none of the inquirers placed a proper order. They also submitted samples in Puregold’s Head Office and almost signed an outright contract but had last-minute doubts if they could cope with the company’s terms. They also tried their luck with Ever Gotesco but the office never returned them with a call. Came May 2010, an unexpected call was received by Mr. Dumo from Starmall Merchandising Department prompting Misha’s Closet to submit sample items. Without proper experience in presentation and armed only with their strong conviction, they headed straight to Starmall Shaw to meet with the Approving Head. Right there and then, they learned the trade of Consignment. Their items were approved instantaneously and were asked if they would oblige to supply all the branches of Finds Department Store. With the desire to broaden their horizon, Misha’s Closet signed a contract with the mall owned by Sen. Manny Villar. They started supplying one branch in Shaw Boulevard. And after some weeks, their second and third branches followed in Alabang and Las Pinas. In April 2012, their fourth branch opened in Starmall San Jose del Monte in Bulacan. And hopefully, open more branches in the future.
