I started Pamitisan as a business venture to build a social enterprise, help the environment, and give back to the community.
It’s been a long journey getting into this industry. Years ago, I wondered if I could ever actually make shoes, or even design them. I’ll admit, I was naive at times and told myself, “I AM a designer,” before I’d earned it.
Now I’ve finally had the chance to prove it; to create something new, something I’d never designed before, something I can truly call mine. And that's where "IBALON" was born.
Being part of this experience taught me lessons I’ll carry and keep improving on. I got to learn more about the footwear industry, meet like-minded people, and made new friends along the way.
And just by being chosen and recognized in the NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL stage is already a win for me. Maybe now, I can finally say: I am a DESIGNER. ✅
