Today is Bereaved Mother’s Day.

A part of my motherhood lives in memories, in longing, in a love that didn’t get the time it deserved… but will always exist. 🤍💚

To everyone—be gentle. Some mothers are celebrating, and some are surviving. A little kindness and remembering goes a long way.

May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month,
and there are so many parts of motherhood
that aren’t always seen or understood.

From the outside,
everything can look fine,
because the day keeps moving
and everything still gets done.

But inside,
there can be overwhelm,
there can be anxiety,
there can be a kind of tired
that doesn’t go away with rest.

It’s often misunderstood,
because a mother can be present,
attentive,
meeting every need,
and still be struggling at the same time.

There are moments
where a pause is needed,
a quiet second
just to breathe.

And still, she keeps going.
She stays close.
She continues to give
in all the ways she can.

And even on the harder days,
she is still a good mom,
still doing enough,
still showing up with love.
