LOCAL POP-UP Ignites Youth Creativity at AMHAF 2026 for National Arts Month
Kalibo, Aklan — The energy of youth, fashion, and creativity is set to take center stage as the Aklan Provincial Youth Development Office launches the LOCAL POP-UP, a dynamic style showcase happening February 17–21, 2026, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM at CityMall Kalibo. Held as part of the AkOne Mental Health Art Festival (AMHAF) 2026) in celebration of National Arts Month, the event blends art, entrepreneurship, and self-expression into one vibrant community experience.
Designed as more than just a shopping destination, LOCAL POP-UP is a creative playground for young designers and homegrown clothing brands to debut original pieces, share their journeys, and sharpen their entrepreneurial skills—from concept creation and branding to production and selling. It’s where passion meets purpose and style meets opportunity.
With fashion as a form of storytelling and healing, the showcase champions creativity as a powerful tool for mental wellness. By giving young creatives a platform to express themselves and connect with their audience, the initiative transforms ideas into wearable art while opening doors to sustainable income and confidence-building experiences.
Participating brands—TADCO, 1LLCITY KLB, Spotted Guy, The Holiday Crew, King X Queen Streetwear, Staylocal Clothing, and Charly’s—bring bold aesthetics, fresh perspectives, and proudly local pride to the spotlight, proving that Aklanon talent is not only thriving but redefining what it means to be stylish and socially inspired.
The LOCAL POP-UP stands as a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and youth empowerment—showing that when local talent is supported, creativity becomes a movement and fashion becomes a force for change.
Join the movement. Wear local. Celebrate art.
