PARA SA MGA ONLINE SELLERS & FREELANCERS: PM SENT, SABI NG BIR!

Ayon sa Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), kailangang magparehistro ng "online sellers" at iba pang negosyo na may transaksiyon sa pamamagitan ng digital o electronic na paraan upang matiyak na makapagbayad ng tax o buwis. Dapat ding ideklara ang kanilang nakaraang mga kita o transaksyon para sa tamang pagpataw ng buwis. Ito ay alinsunod sa Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 60-2020 na inilabas ng ahensya noong June 1, 2020.

LAHAT ng may negosyo online ay:
1. Dapat makapagparehistro sa BIR
2. Dapat magbigay ng resibo o invoices
3. Dapat may books of accounts
4. Dapat mag-file at magbayad ng tax o buwis sa tamang oras.

GOOD NEWS! Kapag nagparehistro bago ang July 31, 2020, walang ipapataw na multa para sa late filing. Ang pagpataw ng buwis ay depende sa kita ng negosyo.
