Are you Team Lyka or Team Visayas? Lyka has undeniably become one of the strongest contenders in . Behind the strong photos and creative concepts is a model with a humble beginning, a passionate heart, and a dream built through hard work and determination.
Coming from a simple background, Lyka did not have much growing up, but always carried a deep passion for learning, discovering, and creating with whatever was available. Since childhood, Lyka already loved fashion, singing, and the arts. Taking photos and dreaming of becoming a model someday slowly became part of the journey.
At just 14 years old, Lyka started joining mobile photography contests using only a phone and eventually earned multiple first-place awards. Those achievements became one of the biggest motivations to continue improving creatively. During high school, Lyka balanced academics and music while remaining a consistent honor student and receiving several recognitions in singing competitions and school activities.
In Senior High School, teachers introduced Lyka to the world of photojournalism, where creativity and storytelling became even more meaningful. Lyka strongly believed that artistry is not about having expensive equipment, but about creating beauty and meaning from anything possible. Through self-study, passion, and dedication, Lyka managed to win awards and improve continuously, even without constant guidance.
When Lyka discovered on Facebook in 2024, there was hesitation at first due to having no experience in modeling competitions. However, the willingness to step outside the comfort zone became the reason to take the risk and finally join the competition.
In early 2025, Lyka and a partner started a small photography and videography business together. As a growing two-person team, they continuously learned and improved challenge after challenge. Lyka personally handled the styling, hair, and makeup, while the partner focused on the technical side of production. Through teamwork, creativity, and perseverance, the outputs gradually leveled up throughout the competition.
Lyka openly acknowledged that the early works were not perfect, especially during the first projects in Lenox, but every mistake became part of the growth and learning process. Despite still striving for greater improvement, Lyka continued showing determination, consistency, and passion in every challenge.
What makes Lyka even more inspiring is that this is actually the first time joining a modeling competition, with no professional background in modeling, photography, or videography before this journey began. Yet despite all of that, Lyka managed to become one of the most talked-about and promising contenders this cycle.
Now the biggest question remains — does Lyka have what it takes to become the next face and grand winner of ?
