A Yard Sale (also known as an attic sale, lawn sale, moving sale, rummage sale, tag sale, thrift sale, or garage sale) is an informal and irregularly scheduled event for the sale of goods by private individuals like me. Typically the goods are items from our household which are sometimes new, like-new, or just usable. Some of these items are offered for sale because we do not want or need the item
anymore, prefer to minimize possessions, make available space, declutter, and at the same time raise funds. Staples of our yard sale include clothing, books, toys, household knickknacks, tools, sports equipment, and sometimes as small as board games. Larger items like furniture and occasionally home appliances are also sold. Yard sales are for people like me who love searching for good bargains. Who doesn't like a good bargain anyway?
