An endless amount of propositions has seemingly graced the Nike Dunk throughout its tactical revitalization over the past few years. After recently embarking on a medley of suede-dominant offerings, the Nike Dunk Low is returning to its clad leather construction fit with seldom Burgundy accents.

Spare the “Team Red” color swatches along the Swoosh, tongue tags and heel embroidery, and the silhouette’s upper matches identically with its “Grey Fog” predecessor from 2021 with white leather filling the underlying panels while a light grey sits atop its overlays and laces. Underfoot, a slight Sail hue emanates from the midsole whereas the tread finishes in an all-black build in conclusion.

Despite being on its third variation, the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 is undoubtedly more popular for its first. And though not quite the “Wave Runner,” this week’s “Enflame Amber” colorway should tide you over until the aforementioned pair’s restock.

The “Enflame Amber” makes use of colors less common in the adidas Yeezy line-up. Starting with the sole, a bright, pastel orange dresses near uninhibited, setting a foundation double as vibrant as the blacked out overlays immediately above. Mesh, then, outfits underneath, alternating through a spectrum of blues, browns, and tans, the latter of which is identical to that of the suede toe cap and mesh/leather top line.

Echoing the two-toned look signature to the silhouette, this upcoming release is helmed by a vibrant “Peach Cream,” which is applied to the construction’s overlays, laces, and outsole. The branding along the tongue follows suit as does the insole and lining; the base and midsole, on the other hand, are more neutral in finish, better complementing the “NIKE” text threaded atop the heel tab.

Over the last few years, Travis Scott has cemented his influence over youth culture the way figures in his inner circle, like Kanye West, once did. Neither he or his NIKE, Inc. family are likely to admit it, but the latter has undoubtedly taken advantage of the success of La Flame’s collaborative footwear, releasing propositions that flirt the line between coincidence and blatant “homage.” Case in point: A newly-surfaced Air Jordan 1 Low.

To the untrained eye, the upcoming pair is simply a brown and white option accented with pink and black tones, but the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Yes, the retro indulges in fall-appropriate colors, and even quilted inner lining, but the shades used evoke Scott’s own “Mocha” takes on the Air Jordan 1. Furthermore, the reflective hit on the spine could be interpreted as Team Jumpman infusing some of the functionality embraced by the Texas-native into its solo-efforts. And while no cargo pockets or Cactus Jack branding makes its way onto the shoes, collectors are sure to go after the style as a consolation prize.

Another sunny, leisurely take on the Nike Dunk Low surfaces as part of the highly anticipated summer collection known as the Sun Club Pack. Already surfacing in alternate iterations as well as a plethora of Nike Sportswear models, the Sun Club is kicking its feet up once more with this sunny yellow and beach-ready tan sand colorway of the Dunk Low.

It captures the same image of a relaxing man inside a hammock, while the Swoosh logo takes a dip into the ocean with the short fin emerging above the water level, with splashes of water rising upwards. The synthetic leather overlay sits against a hemp-like underlay colored in a sail white and tan, while a grainy finish on the rubber outsole completes the look.

A second colorway of Nike’s wilderness-themed Dunk Low emerges as we get a first look at this upcoming Black, Pure Platinum, and Anthracite arrangement. In a colorway rather similar to MEDICOM TOY’s BE@RBRICK collaboration in 2020, this Dunk Low PRM (a non-SB) features the faintest of animal prints on the black-on-anthracite suede portions on the toe-box, ankle, and eyestays. A solid black adds both a textural and color contrast, as does the hits of pure platinum on the Swoosh, heel-tab, inner lining, and tongue lining. The matching pure platinum sole completes the overall look that will certainly be a coveted item for Dunk hunters.
