Looking back, going to UP was a last minute decision I made from the advice of my HS teacher. He had said that it would be a challenge and it most certainly did not disappoint.

In UP is where I got to meet the most diverse set of people—from the academic intellectual to the passionate artist, each day was and still is a tale of two perspectives. It can either be an enjoyable memory or a crippling challenge chalked up to experience.

It is in UP where I learned to but it is also here where it is encouraged to not passively give our trust but to actively fight for the process. To be critical thinkers and question the norm when we feel something is not right.

But up until where do we go?
