SM Araneta City Celebrated 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨 "𝓛𝓪 𝓕𝓵𝓸𝓻 𝓓𝓮 𝓜𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓵𝓪" 2026 with Hannah Mari Paragas Castillo QUEZON CITY, Philippines – The 𝐒𝐌 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 concluded its month-long Marian festivities with the 2nd Grand Flores de Mayo, themed "𝐋𝐚 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚," which took place on May 30, 2026.
organized and directed by Direk Nathan de Leon The event served as a prestigious culmination of both the Flores de Mayo and the Santacruzan tradition, just before the end of the month.
Event Highlights:
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞: Hannah Mari Castillo, the country's youngest national pageant director, the country's youngest FAMAS Prestige Excellence Awardee, and Miss Teen Tourism Heritage Philippines 2024, headlined the procession as "𝓛𝓪 𝓕𝓵𝓸𝓻 𝓓𝓮 𝓜𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓵𝓪" 2026.

𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: Castillo captivated the crowd in an exquisite Filipiñana by designer Manny Halasan. Her radiant, queenly glow was perfected by renowned makeup artist Oliver Bumatay, ensuring she stood out as she walked alongside her consort, pageant king 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐞 𝐋𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐜𝐨.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞: The grand parade began at 4:00 PM and passed through iconic Araneta City landmarks, including 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦, 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 to 𝐒𝐌 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, highlighting the district's heritage.

𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The journey concluded at the 𝐒𝐌 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 Activity Center with a solemn floral offering and a celebration of Filipino culture and faith.

In partnership with the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 and 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, the festivities honored the 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨 tradition and showcased contemporary Filipino artistry on a grand scale.

History and heritage in full bloom! 🌸
Yesterday, May 30, 2026, Araneta City became a stunning canvas of culture for the 2nd Grand Flores de Mayo: "La Flor de Manila."

Taking center stage was the radiant Hannah Mari Paragas Castillo—Miss Teen Tourism Heritage Philippines, Top Model, and FAMAS Youngest Prestige Excellence Awardee—who graced the Grand Flores de Mayo as "La Flor de Manila." She wore a breathtaking floral Filipiniana by master designer Manny Halasan, accompanied by her dashing consorte, Benjie Lentauco. 👑💐

The procession was a gathering of distinguished personalities and beauty icons. Among those who walked the runway were Congressman Jesus "B**g" Suntay of Quezon City’s 4th District, veteran actress Patricia Javier, and acclaimed beauty queens Roberta Tamondong (Miss Grand International 2022 5th RU), Jasmine Omay (Universal Woman Philippines 2025), and Charyzah Esparrago (Miss Supermodel Worldwide Philippines 2025).

Organized by the Philippine Heritage Society under creative director Nathan De Leon, this finale to National Heritage Month was a beautiful tribute to Filipino faith, fashion, and identity. 🇵🇭❤️
