Flourish Co. Thriving gracefully by God’s grace

There comes a point where faith requires us to stop holding everything so tightly.

We say we trust God with our future, our family, our plans, and our lives. But if we're honest, we can still find ourselves trying to control the details, predict the outcome, and figure out what comes next.

That's where trust gets real.

Trust isn't having all the answers. It isn't knowing how everything will work out. Trust is being willing to follow God with what He has given you today, even when you don't know what tomorrow holds.

Maybe today doesn't need to make sense yet.

Maybe what God has spoken to your heart today is enough.

We often carry tomorrow before we've even finished today. We worry about things that haven't happened, rehearse scenarios that may never come, and exhaust ourselves trying to prepare for a future only God can see.

But God isn't asking you to live tomorrow today.

He is asking you to trust Him today.

So release what you've been trying to control. Stop carrying what belongs in His hands. Take the next step He's given you and leave tomorrow where it belongs.

Tomorrow, you can wake up and ask, “Lord, what do You have for me today?”

And whatever He gives you, let that be enough.

Before I learned to pray first,
I used to call everyone else first.
I needed advice, reassurance, validation.

Now I try to pause and talk to God before talking to the world.
It changed my decisions... and my peace.

Turn your first reaction into prayer.
Grow spiritually with us.

Some “no’s” don’t feel like protection.

They feel like heartbreak.
Like embarrassment.
Like being left behind.

I’ve cried over closed doors.
Over plans that didn’t work.
Over opportunities I was so sure were meant for me.

And in the moment, it felt unfair.

But months later… when I looked back,
I realized something that humbled me.

If God gave me what I was asking for back then,
I would’ve walked into rooms I wasn’t ready to handle.

Emotionally.
Spiritually.
Mentally.

Some delays are not punishment.
They’re protection.

Some closed doors are covering you
from pressure you can’t see yet.

If you’re in a hard season right now,
this might not be rejection.

It might be God quietly saving you.

If you’re learning to trust the “no,”
comment “In His time.” 🤍

In a waiting season? You’re not forgotten. God is still working.

There was a season in my life where nothing was moving.

No answers.
No open doors.
Just silence.

I thought God forgot me.

Looking back now, I realize He was rearranging things I couldn’t see.

If it feels quiet for you right now, don’t panic.
God does His deepest work in hidden seasons.

Follow us for daily encouragement.

It’s easy to say “I trust God.”

It’s harder to trust Him
when there’s no backup plan.
No safety net.
No “just in case.”

I didn’t realize I was holding onto control
until I felt anxious at the thought of letting it go.

Because backup plans feel safe.
Control feels safe.
Having options feels safe.

But real faith?

Real faith feels exposed.
It feels like standing still
when everything in you wants to fix it yourself.

The day I finally said,
“Lord, even if this doesn’t go the way I want… I still trust You,”
something changed in me.

Not my situation.
Me.

If you’re learning to let go of control too,
comment “Learning to trust.” 🤍

It hurts when emails don’t get replies.
When opportunities go silent.
When doors close without explanation.

It makes you question yourself.

“Am I not good enough?”
“Did I miss my chance?”

But what if this isn’t rejection…
what if it’s redirection and preparation?

Sometimes God protects you from platforms you’re not ready to stand on yet.

If you’ve ever felt overlooked, this is your reminder — delay is not denial.

You’re being prepared for something that requires the version of you that’s still forming.

If you’re still trusting even when it’s quiet,

Be honest…

Have you been thinking about it more
than you’ve prayed about it?

Because I have.

The late nights.
The overthinking.
The silent pressure no one sees.

Sometimes we don’t need another plan.
We just need to pause and pray.

If you’re choosing peace over panic today,
drop a 🤍

You’re not alone.
