The crowd spread their cloaks on the road and others placed branches, too. As Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, they began shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!” And this fulfilled the spoken prophecy about the coming King and Messiah that they have been waiting for.
This story reminds us of who Jesus is – He is our King and Messiah; and it also proves that God indeed keeps His promises. He promised to send a Savior to His people, and He did! This truth should strengthen and give us hope even in the middle of difficult situations. So today, choose to trust Jesus with all of your heart and wait patiently for His promises.
