Filipino longboard surfer Jomarie Ebueza won second place at the SumatranSurfariis Hamamatsu Open LQS 1000 in Hamamatsu, Japan. The Filipino surfer scored 12.33 the finals to finish second behind the eventual champion Taka Inoue of Japan.

Ebueza sits second at the Asia - 2024/2025 Men's Longboard Tour Final Rankings with 1,450 points.

with just 50 points deficit, , 2nd place in Hamamatsu Open definitely deserve a shot at the World Longboard tour. Please give Jom a chance to be in the elite level together with to represent the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 in the biggest world surfing stage.
