I had so much fun making and designing this Victorian-inspired recycled costume. I'm so thankful that a first-time client would trust and let me decide for the design and materials that I'm going to use in making her daughter's costume for a school event, which is the science fair. The corset was made of plastic spoons embellished with blue plastic rope and a butterfly made out of foil, while the skirt is made out of plastic bags, embellished with butterflies made out of magazines and foil, and of course a Victorian outfit won't be complete without the Victorian hat, which is also made of plastic spoons embellished with flowers and butterflies made out of plastic bags, magazines, and foil.
