CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro โ Since the assumption of PBGEN Christopher Ramos Dela Cruz as Acting Regional Director of the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA (PRO MIMAROPA) on May 8, 2026, sustained and intensified manhunt operations across the region have resulted in the arrest and voluntary surrender of 44 wanted persons in just 10 days, underscoring the organizationโs strengthened operational drive against fugitives and wanted persons.
Based on consolidated data from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), coordinated law enforcement operations conducted from May 8 to 18, 2026 led to the arrest of 20 Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) and 24 Other Wanted Persons (OWPs), reflecting PRO MIMAROPAโs continuing intensified campaign against wanted persons throughout the region.
Among the most recent accomplishments during the period was the voluntary surrender of the Rank No. 1 Most Wanted Person at the provincial level before the San Jose Municipal Police Station in Occidental Mindoro on May 18, 2026.
The accused voluntarily surrendered by virtue of warrants of arrest for five counts of falsification of public documents docketed under Criminal Case Nos. MTC13862, MTC13863, MTC13864, MTC13865, and MTC13866, with recommended bail amounting to โฑ36,000 each.
The successful operations underscored PRO MIMAROPAโs sustained operational tempo, strengthened inter-unit coordination, and intensified campaign against wanted persons throughout the region under the โF.I.G.H.T. C.R.I.M.E.S.โ leadership and operational framework.

PBGEN Dela Cruz further emphasized that PRO MIMAROPA will continue intensifying intelligence-driven operations, operational coordination, and focused law enforcement initiatives to strengthen public safety, uphold the rule of law, and ensure safer communities across the MIMAROPA region.
