Zion's open heart surgery is a success! We're now back home, and we're just waiting for the wound on his chest to fully heal.
A big THANK YOU to all of those who provided monetary donations, bought our shirts, for those who donated their blood, and for those who gave us words of encouragement. Without you guys, we will not be able to make this operation possible.
Special shout-out to Jaden and Friends Inc. who helped us from start to finish. To Doc Ohfi Cardio who was there from the initial check up up until getting discharged, and to Doc Heart, Lung, & Vascular Surgical Virtual Clinic-Francisco M. Peralta Jr.,MD who made sure that we're aware of the risks and complications, but still made the operation as smooth, perfect and quick as possible. To the politicians and party lists who gave us guarantee letters that we used to cover part of the hospital bill, and to ate Lourdes Camu who helped us get some of these letters. To the RCMW / Rotary Club of Makati West for the sponsorship. Lastly, to the entire friendly staff of the Cardio ward of the National Children's Hospital. They made Zion comfortable and at home before and after the operation.
