“For I know the plans I have for you,”declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the LORD.

Through it all, God remains the same. We can fully trust His love for us that whatever hardships we face, He is with us-guiding, protecting and strengthening us.

Sometimes, it may not be the immediate rescue which we have in mind. But know that what matters is, we are not left alone in the fiery trial. Yes, it could be painful, yet, we know that every time we are tested by fire, we will come out of it mightier, stronger, shinier than the purest gold and full of faith-lacking nothing.

This is His promise to us who love Him:

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you go through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps (Proverbs 16:9).

Sometimes, our plans do not turn out the way we expect them to be. There might be some detours; paths that would be different and a process that is too hard to comprehend. Yet the best part is, if it is His will, we know that it’s always going to be good, pleasing and perfect in the end, even if we do not see it yet. As He shows us the way forward, there is just one thing we need to do:
Trust.
