Today, June 6, 2025, we honor the sacred celebration of Eid al-Adha—the Festival of Sacrifice—one of the most profound and meaningful observances in the Islamic faith.

This holy day commemorates the unwavering devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who, in ultimate obedience to God’s will, was prepared to sacrifice his beloved son. His faith was rewarded, and a ram was provided in his son's place—a powerful reminder of submission, mercy, and divine grace.

Eid al-Adha is not only a time for ritual prayer and sacrifice, but also for deep reflection, humility, and compassion. The act of sharing—distributing meat to family, neighbors, and the less fortunate—symbolizes our shared humanity and the call to give generously, live righteously, and uplift one another.

In every prayer whispered, in every meal shared, and in every act of kindness shown today, may we be reminded of the strength of faith and the beauty of selflessness.
