IS THIS THE LEVEL OF SERVICE THAT FILIPINO PEOPLE DESERVE?
I have been reading lots of negative comments on social media about the struggles people face when availing different government services.
Honestly, I didn’t believe it, not until today. I experienced it firsthand.
Imagine waking up early in the morning and heading out as early as 5 AM just to be the first in line. You do everything right...Arriving before the crowd, prepared with all the necessary documents, hopeful that the day will go smoothly. Yet, as the hours drag on, the reality starts to set in. What was supposed to be a simple task turns into a long and frustrating ordeal.
The wait feels endless, with no clear updates or assistance. The staff, if any, seem overwhelmed or unmotivated. Questions go unanswered, and you're left wondering whether your presence even matters. You're left standing there, tired and disappointed, as time slips by and the process seems never-ending.
This experience made me reflect on the countless others who face similar struggles every day. It’s disheartening to think that despite the hard work and dedication of many, the system itself can fail so many.
The Filipino people deserve better!
Better service, better efficiency, and above all, better respect for their time and effort. This is not just about a single frustrating experience. It’s about the larger picture of how we can improve our public services to truly serve the people.
