GENERAL REMINDER FOR ALL CLIENTS โจ
Please understand that makeup longevity may vary depending on several factors such as early prep time, weather condition, extreme heat, humidity, oily skin, sweating, crying, outdoor exposure, and overall climate here in the Philippines.
Kapag very early ang prep time ninyo and the event lasts until afternoon or evening, normal lang po na magkaroon ng minimal fading, oiliness, creasing, or slight paghulas after several hours. No makeup artist can guarantee na ang makeup will stay 100% fresh and untouched the whole day lalo na under intense heat, pawis, at long-hour events.
As your HMUA, I always make sure to:
โข properly prep the skin
โข use quality and long-wearing products
โข apply the right techniques based on your skin type and event
โข make sure your makeup looks good both in person and in photos
However, makeup wear will still depend on:
โข skin chemistry
โข clientโs activities during the event
โข exposure sa init at pawis
โข frequency ng paghawak sa face
โข weather and environmental factors
Professional makeup is meant to enhance your natural features and help you look your best throughout your event not to remain completely flawless after many hours of movement, sweat, tears, and exposure to different conditions.
Constructive feedback is always welcome, but sana maintindihan din na slight paghulas after long hours and extreme climate is natural and not automatically a reflection of poor service or bad makeup application.
Makeup is still makeup it sits on skin, and skin naturally produces oil, sweat, and movement throughout the day.
