Being a business owner is a difficult and sometimes, a lonely journey. Ito yung hindi naipapakita ng ibang mga negosyante. Kala natin smooth lang ang lahat pero madami ding silent battles, struggles, downfalls na hindi natin nakikita.

Kailangan ready ka sa criticism.
Kailangan matibay puso mo.
Kailangan kaya magdecide kahit unpopular.
Kailangan trumabaho 24/7.
Kailangan makisama.
Kailangan makikapwa.

Kapag matigas ka, wala kang puso.
Kapag malambot, maaabuso.
Kapag may barrier ka, nagbago ka na.
Kapag humina, ikaw ang may kasalanan.

Depend on God

Sa maraming pagkakataon ang relasyon ng anak sa magulang ay tulad ng relasyon natin sa Diyos. Noong mga bata pa tayo wala tayong masyadong kayang gawin kaya umaasa lamang tayo sa ating mga magulang. They trained us to be independent so that we can stand on our own, makapag-aral ng maayos, makapagtrabaho at magkaroon ng sarili nating pamilya. But with the Lord, while He wants us to live our lives to the fullest, He teaches us to always depend on Him. Kahit na sa pagtatrabaho at pagnenegosyo mo, ang susi ng makabuluhan at matagumpay na buhay ay ang lubos na pagtitiwala sa Diyos. Depend on God.

Magandang araw, ako si Maloi Malibiran-Salumbides para sa Protips.

Naalala ko noong bago pa lamang akong nagmamaneho, laman ng prayer requests ko sa mga kaibigan ang proteksyon at kaligtasan sa pagbibiyahe. Noong natuto na ako, minsan ay nakalilimutan ko na ang ipanalangin ang ligtas na paglalakbay. It is easy to forget to depend on the Lord when we think that we can do things on our own. Ang paalala sa atin sa Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

How do we practice our dependence on the Lord?

1) Ask God for strength. Kung pagod ka na sa trabaho mo at sa takbo ng buhay mo, humingi ka sa Kanya ng kalakasan upang magpatuloy. Ang sabi sa Isaiah 40:29, "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."

2) Ask God for wisdom. Kailangan mo ng karunungan para sa trabaho at negosyo mo? Kailangan mo ng mga bagong ideya para higit na mapalago ang kabuhayan na mayroon ka ngayon? King Solomon asked God for wisdom and the Lord did not withhold this from him. Kinilala si Solomon bilang pinakamatalinong pinuno sa mundo. Tandaan mo, wisdom comes from God.

3) Ask God for daily guidance and protection. Maraming bagay ang hindi natin kontrolado but God knows everything even before they take place. Kaya sa Kanya tayo magtiwala para sa direksyon ng ating buhay at proteksyon sa araw-araw.

Many people trust in powerful connections, what they know and what they have. Pero ang mas nakahihigit dito at ang mas dapat nating matutunan ay ang ilagay ang ating tiwala sa Diyos. Depend on God.
