ODASKO provide a unique artisanal experience for shoe lovers, with a hand selected collection of meticulously crafted footwear,
leather goods and a
ccessories for men. Our philosophy is to offer quality original footwear in limited quantities, fitting between luxury brands and mass-market retailers. Each collection is sourced, curated from Pakistan’s finest footwear manufacturing regions, and is crafted by respected second and third generation makers,
embracing artisan techniques. The finest materials, sophisticated lasts and traditional techniques combine to give each shoe a unique signature. The company originated when founder Scholar Malik Shahzad Awan met with a group of craftsmen in the local bazar of their hometown Abbottabad. Everything in that workshop was literally being handcrafted. The duo learned that some of the most well-known luxury brands work with craftsmen in developing countries like Pakistan, India, and Vietnam but rarely talk about them. To change this they started working on the idea of ODASKO. The brand name is made with ODA and SKO,
ODA is a Lithuanian word which means “Leather or Skin”
SKO is a Danish word which means “Shoe”
So Odasko is “Leather Shoe”
