Stop buying new furniture. Rearrange first.I did this last weekend out of boredom.Moved the sofa away from the wall. Turned the armchair towards the window instead of the telly. Put the lamp in the corner that always felt dead.Same stuff. Completely different room.Cost me nothing but a sore back.We get so used to where things sit that we stop actually seeing the space.Try it before your next trip to the shop.
