🌧️ Cloudburst & Devastating Floods – Our Solidarity, Our Appeal 💔🖤

Recent cloudbursts and the resulting flash floods in Buner, Bajaur, Battagram, Mansehra, Lower Dir, Swat, parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir have caused heartbreaking devastation. Dozens of lives have been lost, and hundreds remain missing as search and rescue operations continue.

This is not just a natural disaster — it is a human tragedy that has displaced thousands of families, particularly affecting women, children, and home-based workers, many of whom have lost their homes, livelihoods, and sense of security.

The Federation of Sindh Home Based Workers (FSHBW) stands in solidarity with all affected communities and urgently appeals to the international community, humanitarian organizations, trade unions, and donor agencies to step forward with immediate support and long-term recovery assistance.

⚠️ We call for:

Immediate provision of relief including food, medical aid, and shelter in flood-hit areas.

Inclusion of women and home-based workers in relief and rehabilitation planning.

Involvement of local labor federations in the response and rebuilding process.

🚨 FSHBW Emergency Appeal – Cloudburst & Flash Floods Response

In the wake of devastating cloudbursts and flash floods across Pakistan – especially in Buner, Bajaur, Battagram, Mansehra, Lower Dir, Swat, parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, and AJK – the Federation of Sindh Home Based Workers (FSHBW) is launching an emergency relief response to support the most vulnerable.

💔 Hundreds of families have lost loved ones. Many remain missing, while entire communities face displacement, loss of livelihood, and severe trauma.

We are deeply concerned about the continued extreme weather alerts for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, and other regions. In solidarity, FSHBW teams are actively coordinating with grassroots workers and local organizations for an immediate response.
