In 1966, Sheikh Muhammad Sarwar decided to open a shop to sell canvas. This idea was a huge success and the business saw a drastic change in term of sales. The idea was to develop a strong relationship with the client while providing them with the best quality products. The success of the business resulted in his first manufacturing facility called H. Sheikh Noor-Ud-Din & Sons in 1973 to cater to

both international and local clients. This unit started producing high-quality tents, tarpaulins, and canvas. The company reached its turning point when it started supplying relief products to The United Nations during the Iran-Iraq War in 1980 and later on became its biggest supplier. Sheikh Noor-Ud-Din & Sons earned the reputation of becoming one of the world’s leading manufacturers of core relief items, shelter solutions and tools for humanitarian aid and public health sectors.
