Since beginning we were given the concept of table spreads, table etiquette and table manners.
The most traditional ways to eat was to sit around a dasterkhawn and with a proper setting where everything was laid out properly and only food was supposed to be pass on to people sitting around .Then with time maize posh took over and dining tables were covered with pretty embroideries lace and crochet table tops with this gradually napkins placemats table were added.
We learned to be careful while eating so as not to spill on grandma's hand made table tops. Happy eating!

Grandma used to hand-stitch rag-dolls for all the kids.

She used to make a batch of brides, and a batch of grooms, and we used to organise make-believe wedding ceremonies with all those dolls.

Countless hours were spent.

Here's to continuing grandma's tradition.

Making this for a dear client on such short notice was truly an experience.

Evening-luddo-family-get-togethers are the pastimes of choice for this specific client.

Glad that a simple labour such as this brought people together.

In this age of fast-paced living, people usually carry only what they need, while forgetting the rest on the coffee table.
