I have always loved exchanging gifts, the practice taught me that gifts are not just material possesions, gifts can be in the form of a wish, a prayer and a kiss. When I design, I give the mose pure part of my mind to the design, this is how I ensure my clients will love what they wear. Amongst all the things I cannot control about the out come of my work, I do not count the intention that leads to my design making.

I often get asked the question, why does it take so long for a Khatepoesh collection to come out?

And

I always answer, I think we have forgotten the value a piece of craft holds. One piece of Khatepoesh clothing isnt just cloth, fibre and stitch. It represents the many hands that labour to bring it to existence and the countless hours it has taken to bring those people together.

Today, I’m building a new mood board. The beginning of another chapter.

Every fresh line starts with intention. As Khatepoesh moves into new waters, the design direction evolves with it. The silhouettes shift. The textures refine. The color stories deepen. This is a glimpse into my world, the quiet decisions, the edits, the inspirations that shape what you will soon wear.

We have all looked at global trends and wondered, Is this really for me? I believe every trend can belong in your wardrobe; it simply needs to be reinterpreted with purpose. Softer lines. Better structure.

Thoughtful detailing. A balance between fashion and functionality.

That is where I step in.

This upcoming line is about translating what’s current into what’s wearable. It’s about creating ensembles that feel modern yet grounded, statement pieces that still understand your everyday life.
