The group’s main line of business is edible oil (Vanaspati and Cooking Oil) and oil seeds but also operates in Textile Polyester Fibre and Real Estate. It has four main subsidiaries; Tahir Omer Industries Ltd (TOI), Khalis Manufacturing Ltd (KML), Khalis Oil & Ghee Industries Ltd (KOGIL) and Khalis Fibre (Pvt) Ltd. The solvent extraction and edible oil refining business of the group comes under TOI, KML and KOGIL and the Polyester Fibre business is run under Khalis Fibre (Pvt) Ltd. Tahir Omer Industries Ltd is one of the biggest edible oil companies in Pakistan in terms of production capacity and market capitalization.
