Main Announcement by the PM Today after NCOC meetup:

1. Classes 9-12 to also remain closed till Eid in a high positive ratio cities
2. Markets will close at 6 pm and will not open after Iftar
3. Outdoor dining also banned till Eid
4. Army to support Police to implement COVID19 SOPs in main cities
5. Office hours till 2 pm
6. No lockdown for now, but follow coronavirus SOPs-

Always wear face mask, maintain social distancing and follow hand hygiene.

Rawalpindi Traffic Update:

Protestors have been dispersed after Rangers and police operation at Liaquat Bagh.

Traffic operation will normalize at Liaquat Bagh Murree Road in a while.

Heavy contingent of police has been deployed to control any untoward situation.

Plan travel accordingly.

Islamabad- TLP Protests and Traffic Update @ 2100 hrs:

Tarnol Railway crossing (Phatak) has been closed for traffic due to an ongoing protest by TLP workers. Long queues reported on G.T Road between Golra Mor - 26 Number Chungi and Sang-Jani Toll Plaza- Taxila.

Meanwhile, diversions have been placed at the following locations in the Capital:

1. Dhokri Chowk
2. Rawal Dam Chowk
3. Main Bharakahu Road.
4. Rawat Bazar

Alternate Routes:

1- Commuters traveling from Murree to Islamabad are advised to use Shahpur village, Dam Road, and Prince Road to reach Islamabad via Imran Khan Chowk.
2- Commuters traveling from Rawalpindi and Islamabad to Murree may use Hazrat Park Road, Banni Gala Road and Prince Road.
