Burgundian gown — fashionable in the 15th century at the courts of Burgundy, in the regions of present-day France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. It was there that the characteristic long silhouettes, deep necklines, luxurious fabrics, and elegance we now associate with the late Middle Ages were born.
I made my gown from wool and velvet. The heavy fabric drapes beautifully in motion and gives the whole outfit a dignified character.
The only thing missing to complete the silhouette is the proper headdress ✨
