Inside the Studio: Why we banned the overlocker for this build 🤫
Look at our custom build for Yona (Akatsuki no Yona).
For this outfit, the goal was to find incredibly light fabric that creates a perfect, natural drape. But here is a fun backstage fact: because this is a historical-style costume, I completely refused to use a modern overlock machine on the edges. Every hidden seam was processed authentically so the piece feels like a real historical garment, not just a quick stage prop.
We put this level of nerdy obsession into every single project, no matter how complex the task is.

Last year (yes, I make incredibly timely posts 🦖), our loyal client Bogdan Bereziansky and I hung out at Wielki Bal Cosplayowy flexing his gorgeous Suigintou look.
For us, it’s a whole different level of satisfaction to see my costume out in the "wild conditions" of a real event, where you have to move for hours, keep your posture, and feel 100% confident. And when a custom build made completely remote without a single in-person fitting survives all that hustle without a single flaw - that’s a proud master moment.
